A new version of Vintage Vault was released in August that brings that collection up to date with respect to instruments that are new (or recent) now being included. UVI has long had a super bundle called the Vintage Vault.

Some packages feature just one synth (or synth line) and others are bundles of as many as seven unrelated original instruments. The UVI recreations are available in packages of various sizes and prices. Actually, some of these “classics” are not all that old, but others go back to the dawn of the synthesizer age.

I will just say that I enjoy these, and I will be keeping them.UVI’s Vintage Vault sequel is a vast and sprawling collection of legendary electronic instrument recreations – it’s full of treasures that await the classic synth enthusiast. I'm too much of a noob to be recommending anything. I'm not going as far as actually recommending these to anyone. The TC's seem to be a bit more transparent, for a more modern, realistic space. More research required, and an increase in budget (Honey?)

Eventually I want to find a deal on a PCM series 'verb, but the jury is still out as to which one (70?, 90? XX?). Really dig the vintage vibe on the older Lex's. I find the Lex verbs to be on the lush, but processed, side.

The next step up in the TCE realm (M3000 and up) gets pretty expensive for my budget, even used. This is in my wife's vocal chain, and her ears love it.

I feel like I paid through the nose for this at (used) $199 shipped. Repaired display (reseated ribbon cable) and encoder in-house ($10). $40, as an un-tested, parts only purchase. I will keep it because I have "that" disease. Got it mainly for some lo-fi weird, but a few 'verbs are usable. Sometimes used as my FX send on my Venice. This is where I discovered that I like knobs way more than menus. Probably gets used the least out of this low-end list. A lot of the fun, for me, is finding the bargains! Have soldering iron, will travel. I am still enjoying THAT process, as well. All are low end, rackmounts, purchased used, but can be useful if you get to know them. Here are some "also rans" that I have enjoyed learning with. Maybe it doesn't work well on its own and I should use it with something else? Maybe it works great for guitars but not so much for synths? Maybe it works best if you do something specific that is not obvious for beginners? But still, having clean reverbs is also very useful so thank you once again! I still like the idea of "lo-fi character" so I don't want to get rid of Midiverb II, just perhaps need a couple of wise words from people who used it and loved it. Again, those are pretty clean and what I would consider "nice" verbs, they will not provide you that lo-fi character.Thank you for the recommendations! I don't see any Rumours for sale at the moment but I'm not in a hurry anyway. I think in that price range a pedal would be something you consider, like a used strymon or a UAD GR. It basically 2 channels of the reverb algorithms found in the KSP8. The rooms/plates are decent (not as good as Valhalla or a good lexicon). It's very clean though, but I find the big verbs really lush. It's pretty nice and does some nice eventide like verbs. You mentioned grit before, and so I didnt think it appropriate to mention something cleaner, but I don't think anyone mentioned a Kurzweil Rumor.
